Sony Alpha Academy is a three-class series for users of Sony mirrorless cameras. Each class will cover a different topic and aspects of your camera. The curriculum of these courses is designed to leave you with an extensive understanding of your camera upon completion.
Basic camera functions and techniques.
- If you have not read your instruction manual, this course will give you a better understanding of how your camera operates including the menu system, scene modes, and creative modes.
Proper lens selection.
- Your camera is only half of the equation when it comes to capturing images. The lens is equally if not MORE important than the camera. The lens creates the look and feel of your photographs. With so many options, this class will cover the difference between wide-angle, telephoto, prime and other types of lenses. Most importantly when would want to use one lens over the other.
Advanced modes and features.
- Program, shutter, aperture and manual modes; this is where the magic happens. You will learn about the different exposure modes in detail. Taking control of the exposure will ensure your creative vision matches the outcome of your photographs.
